PCLK Education Raffle
Last year, thanks to your contributions, nearly 1000 school children spent a day
discovering the natural and cultural history at Point Cabrillo Light Station
State Historic Park as part of thye PCLK's award winning education program. With
your continued support we can do the same in 2012.
Students on field trips to Point Cabrillo experience history, map tide-pools,
watch whales, find birds, restore habitats, explore haw the Pomo People lived
and discover how a dedicated group of volunteers and supporters have made a
difference by saving and restoring this historic treasure. They do all this
while having fun out of doors - the way kids learn best.
This program is provided free to schools. The PCLK has provided this program at
no cost to every school and class that wants to visit. With your
help we can continue to do so.
When you buy an Education Raffle Ticket, either at the lighthouse or from a
volunteer, every ticket dollar goes directly to the PCLK Education Program. The
students will get a field trip and you might win one of the wonderful prizes
described below.
