First Assistant Lightkeeper’s House 3D Tour
Thank you to Rob LeRoy of Full Frame Creative Agency for creating this incredible Matterport 3D tour of the First Assistant Lightkeeper’s House here at the Point Cabrillo Light Station. Since we’ve been closed since March due to COVID-19 regulations, this is a cool way to tour the museums and learn more about the life of a lightkeeper on the Mendocino Coast.
Need help getting around in the tour? Use your “scroll” button on your computer mouse, or two fingers on your laptop trackpad in order to zoom in and read museum displays. If you’re on your smartphone, use two fingers to zoom in and out – and one finger to move around!
Support Point Cabrillo
If you enjoyed the tour and would like to support the Point Cabrillo Light Station financially, you can donate online through PayPal! If every visitor to our website donated just $1, we could have the funds to re-paint the Lightkeeper’s Homes in 2021… if everyone donated $10, we’d could rebuild the historic barn at Point Cabrillo Light Station!
