Long Tailed Weasels

A visitor that is typically elusive and shy of the camera, we were lucky enough to spot a Long Tailed Weasel at Point Cabrillo Light Station State Historic Park on Friday, May 8, 2020!

This little gal popped in and out of her hole, very curious about our videographer. After we stopped filming, she ran back and forth in front of the lighthouse, with small animals in her mouth… we think baby ground squirrels, their primary food source!
